Note: These mapping documents are not claiming to be endorsements from any local authority or SACRE and are not intended as a promotional tool. Rather, in keeping with our philosophy and mission to improve religious education for children, they have been written to support teachers in making their own informed decisions as to the extent to which Discovery RE may fulfil the requirements of their locally agreed syllabus. Teachers can then decide whether it will be the best scheme for their school and children.
We welcome discussions and liaison with SACREs and LAs as we always aim to do justice to every agreed syllabus.
